What is Byzas: Founder of Byzantium about?

Byzantium was founded in 657 BC as an ancient Greek colony by settlers from Megara, led by Byzas. According to legend, Byzas consulted the oracle of Apollo at Delphi and was instructed to settle opposite the "Land of the Blind". He found a location on the European side of the Bosporus with access to the Golden Horn harbor, judging the residents of nearby Chalcedon as "blind" for not recognizing its strategic advantages. Byzantium later became Constantinople and is now known as Istanbul.
