What is Understanding Visual Descent Point (VDP) about?
The Visual Descent Point (VDP) is a point on the Missed Approach Point (MAP) of a non-precision approach where an aircraft can begin its descent to the runway while maintaining a 3 degree descent angle if the runway environment is visible.
