What is Human Amygdala about?

SM has complete lack of fear even in dangerous situations due to bilateral amygdala damage. While she understands fear intellectually and had experiences of fear as a child, she no longer feels fear as an adult. Her amygdala damage developed progressively starting in childhood, corresponding to her last memories of feeling fear around age 10.
