What is Piled Foundation Analysis Report about?
The analysis followed Eurocode 7 and used the effective stress approach to analyze a 175mm diameter driven pile foundation. The soil profile consisted of 10m of soft low plasticity clay overlying 30m of weathered rock. The analysis found that a minimum pile length of 14m within the weathered rock stratum was required to support the permanent load of 27.5kN and characteristic load of 60kN. The report summarized the results and provided detailed analysis under two design approaches.
