What is Social Media about?

This study examines how social media and lifestyle trends influence the saving habits of young people in Yogyakarta, utilizing a quantitative approach with data from 120 participants. Results indicate that social media and lifestyle trends positively affect consumptive behavior, which in turn negatively impacts saving habits. The findings highlight the need for improved financial management skills among youth to counteract the pressures of consumerism driven by social media.
