The engineering properties and reaction mechanism of MgO-activated slag cement-clayey sand-bentonite (MSB) cutoff wall backfills by Wu, Hao-Liang ;Jin, Fei ;Zhou, An-nan ;Du, Yan-Jun is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is The engineering properties and reaction mechanism of MgO-activated slag cement-clayey sand-bentonite (MSB) cutoff wall backfills about?

## h i g h l i g h t s MgO-activated GGBS, bentonite and local clayey sand are used to produce cutoff wall backfill. Engineering properties and microstructural evolutions of MSB backfill are assessed. Major hydration products are hydrotalcite-like phases, C-S-H, monosulfate, and portlandite. Higher bentonite and lower binder content increase cumulative pore volumes. Binding effect and pore filling by hydration products and swelling bentonite contribute to the engineering performance.

Who reads The engineering properties and reaction mechanism of MgO-activated slag cement-clayey sand-bentonite (MSB) cutoff wall backfills?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Engineering.
