About this document

Tracer Tests for Radionuclide Transport Modeling by vincent is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study presents the results of two cross-hole tracer tests conducted to evaluate a conceptual solute transport model in saturated fractured tuff at Yucca Mountain, NV. The tests involved the simultaneous injection of nonsorbing and weakly sorbing tracers, revealing that matrix diffusion plays a significant role in solute transport and supporting the dual-porosity model of the geological formation. The findings indicate that laboratory-derived transport parameters can be applied to field-scale prediction
