This study investigates the relationship between corneal hysteresis (CH) and progressive retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) loss in glaucoma patients over an average follow-up of 3.8 years. Results indicate that lower CH is significantly associated with faster rates of RNFL loss, suggesting that CH may be an important factor in assessing glaucoma progression. The findings highlight the potential of CH as a biomarker for glaucoma susceptibility and progression.
