The Namaskär Mahämangal Sutra is a revered Jain prayer that offers obeisance to the five supreme beings known as Pancha Parmeshtis - Arihanta, Siddha, Ächärya, Upädhyäy and Sädhus. It praises the qualities of these five types of beings, which include monks and nuns of any religion who practice the five great vows. The prayer contains a total of 108 attributes being praised, which are represented by the 108 beads on a Jain rosary used for prayer.
