This study evaluates the use of soil salinity and redox potential as proxies for assessing the restoration success of Rhizophora mucronata mangrove juveniles in Sri Lanka. Results indicate that successful restoration sites have lower soil salinity and higher redox potential compared to unsuccessful sites, suggesting these soil parameters reflect the maturity of restored mangrove areas.
