The energy stored in the capacitor is calculated as 0.5CV2 or 5nJ. Section E2 shows simulations of the average voltage and time for different percentages of resistance R2. The time constant τRC is also reported for each simulation. When R2 is 0%, the time constant is 0 since τ = RC.
