Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is the national flag carrier of Pakistan. It was founded in 1946 as Orient Airways before shifting operations to Pakistan after independence in 1947. PIA was nationalized in 1955 and renamed Pakistan International Airlines. PIA operates scheduled services to 22 domestic destinations and 28 international destinations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, with a fleet of over 30 aircraft.
