About this document

J Exp Orthop - 2023 - Deichsel - Interference Screws Manufactured From Magnesium Display Similar Primary Stability For by TRIO SETIYAWAN is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study compares the biomechanical stability of biodegradable interference screws (IFS) made from magnesium (Mg-IFS) and biocomposite materials (Bc-IFS) in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using a porcine model. Results showed no significant differences in elongation, load to failure, and stiffness between the two types of screws after testing, indicating that magnesium IFS can be a viable alternative to biocomposite IFS. The findings suggest that magnesium IFS may promote graft-bone healing eff
