What is Green Nanoparticles for Stereospecific and Stereoselective Organic Synthesis about?
In the rapidly expanding field of nanotechnology, nanoscale materials as nanocatalysts for the synthesis of various organic compounds have garnered considerable attention. The synthesis of various noble metal nanostructures (Ni-fructose@SiO2, Fe3O4@chitosan, Fe3O4@guanidine, Fe3O4@l-arginine NPs, bimetallic nanocomplexes, CuO@Ag nanostructures, and a series of Pd, Pt, Zn, Cu, Ni nanocatalysts), as well as their new catalytic applications in various kinds of stereoselective and stereospecific synthesis, will be summarized in this study, in order to have a better understanding of the catalytic activities of these nanostructures in green environment. Further research reveals that these materials exhibit better catalytic activity, specificity, and selectivity in various stereoselective and stereospecific reactions than previously described diverse kinds of organic catalysts. Furthermore, we anticipate that our research will make a significant contribution toward the synthesis of noble metal nanoparticles, which will open up new avenues for nanocatalysis.
