About this document
Capacitive Proximity Sensors Overview by csystems is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Capacitive proximity sensors are designed to detect non-conductive media at high temperatures ranging from -40 to 200 degrees Celsius. The sensor has an adjustable sensing distance between 4 to 15 mm and uses a potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment. It has a PNP output circuit, operates from 10 to 35 VDC, and has short circuit and reverse polarity protections. The cylindrical threaded housing is made of V2A/PTFE material and is 65 mm in length with an IP67 rating.
