This study aimed to validate the Parkland Protocol for classifying traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients into different risk levels for spontaneous progression of intracranial hemorrhage. The protocol classified patients as low, moderate, or high risk based on the size and types of injuries seen on initial CT scans.
