What is Needle Stick Injury Prevalence in Nurses about?

This study aimed to determine the prevalence and associated factors of needle stick and sharp injuries among nurses working at Tikur Anbesa Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2018. A cross-sectional study design was employed using a pre-tested questionnaire to collect data from 302 nurses selected through a stratified sampling technique. The study found that the prevalence of needle stick and sharp injuries within the past 12 months was 66.6%. Factors significantly associated with such injuries
