Back Harbour is a small community located on Twillingate Island in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It had a population of 137 in 1956 and was a farming and fishing village with two stores and two schoolhouses in 1911. The town currently has no commercial buildings and residents go to Twillingate for goods and services. An archaeological discovery of artifacts from the Maritime Archaic people was made in Back Harbour in 1967.
