About this document

Fire Resistance of Sustainable Bricks by Gerhana Jaya is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This progress report discusses research into producing more sustainable concrete bricks using waste materials like palm oil fuel ash and fly ash to replace portions of ordinary Portland cement. The research aims to study how the mechanical properties and fire resistance of bricks are affected by different mix designs and firing temperatures. Initial literature review has been conducted on use of these waste materials in concrete as well as past studies on producing bricks from other waste sources.
