This monograph describes 147 species of a monogenetic trematodes, found in 121 of 245 species of Hawaiian fishes. Included are three new genera (__Pseudancyrocephalus__, __Gempylitrema__, and __Prostatomicrocotyla__) and one new aspidogasterid species. Two new names, __Nasicola__ and __Alleoheterocotyla__, are proposed as new combinations. Most of the trematodes are new species, and 42 species are already known from Hawaiian and other waters. As a general rule, the distribution of the Hawaiian Monogenea is related to the distribution of their hosts. Widely distributed oceanic fishes, such as __Acanthocybium__, harbor a species of trematode common to the Atlantic as well as to the Pacific.
