This study investigates the antifungal effects of Heat-stable activity factor (HSAF) produced by Lysobacter enzymogenes against the pear pathogen Alternaria alternata. HSAF was found to inhibit mycelial growth and spore germination of A. alternata in a dose-dependent manner, affecting the expression of thousands of genes and disrupting multiple cellular metabolism pathways.
