About this document
TiO2 Nanoparticles in Self-Compacting Concrete by CARLOS ALEJANDRO CABALLA OLIVARES is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document discusses a study on the effects of adding TiO2 nanoparticles and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) as a binder on the physical, thermal, and mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete. GGBFS was used to replace 45% of the Portland cement by weight. Up to 4.0% of the cement weight was replaced with TiO2 nanoparticles. The addition of TiO2 nanoparticles up to 3.0% was found to accelerate strength development at early ages by increasing calcium hydroxide crystallization, leadin
