What is Exenatide about?
This randomized, placebo-controlled trial evaluated the effects of exenatide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist, on intracranial pressure (ICP) in women with idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH). Results showed that exenatide significantly reduced ICP at 2.5 hours, 24 hours, and 12 weeks post-treatment, with no serious safety concerns noted.
