About this document
Interspecies Bonding: Ain Mallaha Insights by Bineet Kumar is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Human-dog bonding has a long history, with some of the earliest evidence found over 12,000 years ago of human and puppy remains buried together. While pet dog populations increased after World War II as more people lived in suburbs, dogs were often kept outside and served functional roles like protection until more recently. In the last few decades, pet dogs have taken on more of an emotional support role for their human guardians and become more integrated into families and homes.
