What is Polyester Finger Cover for TRUCT Braille about?

This document summarizes research on developing a finger cover made of soft polyester non-woven fabric to assist Braille learners in reading transparent resinous ultraviolet-curing type (TRUCT) Braille signs. The researchers conducted studies that showed wearing the finger cover enabled Braille learners to read TRUCT Braille faster and more accurately compared to without the cover, regardless of the material or dot height. The cover reduces friction between the finger and material, allowing easier movement.
