The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) issued an advisory on rapid antibody blood tests for COVID-19. ICMR recommends the RT-PCR throat/nasal swab test as the best method for diagnosing COVID-19. Some states had procured rapid antibody test kits from Guangzhou Wondfo Biotech and Zhuhai Livzon Diagnostics for surveillance purposes.
