The author reviewed his personal life and creative process since his childhood. He used "the line drawing of character description" technique to describe his contacts in the literary and art circles, including literary master Tolstoy, the representative writers of "Silver Age" Blok, Esenin, Mayakovsky, Tsvetaeva and other people. It reflected the writer's outstanding achievements from different aspects, as well as the mentality of the author at that time, and brought some supplementary material to understand the later ideological state of the poet.)
