What is Abstract Expressionism Art Class Plan about?

This 45-minute art class focuses on reproducing abstract expressionist works through collaborative projects. Students will each receive a small rectangle cut from a poster of a famous abstract expressionist artwork. They will then paint what they see in their rectangle onto a larger piece of paper to recreate the original work. Students will hang their pieces together in groups. The teacher will introduce the project, provide guidance, and assess students based on a rubric for their individual contributions
