The study developed a Spanish version of the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-Sp) to assess oral health-related quality of life among Chilean adolescents. The OHIP-Sp demonstrated suitable convergent and discriminative validity, as well as appropriate internal consistency, with significant associations found between self-perceived oral health status and OHIP-Sp scores. Further research is suggested to include populations with higher disease burdens and to evaluate test-retest reliability.
