The language and sentence structure is set so that the young reader can immediately grasp, understand and get interested in the story line. So, I put my adolescent mind track in and started to read. Before I knew it, I was very engaged with the tale of Gabriel, who may or may not be an angel, depending on how you look at it. The story is attention-grabbing and absolutely funny in parts. It should be noted, there is one brief dialogue at the opening of the book where Gabriel, to prove he is an angel, repeats the words another character used during a recent love encounter with her boyfriend.
