What is Assam, Arracan, Tenasserim Act 1835 about?

Act No. II of 1835 establishes the control and superintendence of appointed functionaries in the Provinces of Assam, Arracan, and Tenasserim. Civil cases will be overseen by the Court of Sudder Dewanny Adawlut, criminal cases by the Court of Nizamut Adawlut, and revenue cases by the Sudder Board of Revenue. This control is to be exercised according to instructions from the Government of Fort William in Bengal.
