The Union Public Service Commission announced the results of the 2010 Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination. 840 candidates were initially recommended for appointment based on merit. An additional 130 candidates are now being recommended to fill remaining posts, including 48 general, 72 OBC, 05 SC and 05 ST candidates.
