In the night, she hears dripping and feels her dog reassuringly lick her hand each time, allowing her to fall back asleep. However, upon investigating the sound, she discovers her dog hanging from the shower with its throat slit and a message written in its blood on the wall saying "HUMANS CAN LICK TOO".
