The goal is to decrease the percentage of 5th grade English Learner (EL) students who did not meet or partially met PARCC standards by 2%. A vocabulary flip-book activity will be used with all 5th grade EL students from January to June. Surveys will assess if 85% of students can define 4 words correctly using the flip-book. The outcome will be measured by a 2% increase in PARCC scores for 5th grade EL students. Amy Franklin will oversee the project.
