About this document

IGF1 by Eva Ardianah is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The study investigates the pro-inflammatory effects of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1) on human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and its potential role in cardiovascular disease development in acromegaly patients. Results indicate that IGF1 enhances cytokine production in response to Toll-like receptor (TLR) stimulation, particularly increasing IL6 and TNF alpha levels, while the MAPK signaling pathway mediates this effect. The findings suggest that IGF1 may contribute to systemic inflammation
