This study evaluated the effectiveness of physiotherapy-based breathing retraining for asthma patients with dysfunctional breathing. Results showed significant improvements in asthma quality of life scores in the retraining group compared to the control group at 1 month, with some benefits maintained at 6 months. Over half of the participants in the retraining group experienced clinically relevant improvements in their quality of life following the intervention.
