About this document
Comparative Study of Superdisintegrants by Lina Winarti is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document presents a study comparing three superdisintegrants - sodium starch glycolate, croscarmellose, and crospovidone - for their effectiveness in formulating orally disintegrating tablets of the antiemetic drug promethazine HCl. Nine formulations were prepared using these superdisintegrants at different concentrations and evaluated for various parameters. The results showed that tablets formulated with crospovidone exhibited the fastest drug release compared to the other superdisintegrants.
