What is Herophilus: First Anatomist in History about?

Herophilus of Chalcedon was the first anatomist in history, performing systematic dissections of human bodies in public for the first time and laying the foundations for a more accurate anatomy. He made important discoveries about the brain and blood vessels and determined that intelligence comes from the brain and not the heart. Although his written work was lost, his knowledge was transmitted through quotes in later authors.
