## Sulfasalazine Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: case report An 81-year-old man developed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) during treatment with sulfasalazine for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The man, who had a history of cholecystectomy due to acute cholecystitis, referred for the CT-guided needle biopsy and treatment due to infiltrative shadows in both lungs noted in the MRI. Prior to the referral, he was diagnosed with RA and started receiving oral sulfasalazine [salazosulfapyridine] 250 mg/day in 2017 that increased to 500 mg/day and then to 750 mg/day. Bucillamine was also added due to exacerbation of arthralgia. Later, he had hepatitis C required sofosbuvir and ledipasvir. Additionally, Bucillamine was stopped and the dose of sulfasalazine decreased to 500 mg/day in August 2018. After resolution of hepatitis C, the dose of sulfasalazine increased to 1000 mg/day. Later, MRI scan in 2020 showed infiltrative shadows in both lungs. Thus, he referred for CT-guided needle biopsy and treatment.
