This document summarizes a study assessing water quality in the coastal waters of Hebei Province in western Bohai Sea, China. Water quality samples were collected from 27 stations in 2006 and analyzed for pollutant loads and concentrations of COD and phosphate. Organic Pollution Index and Eutrophication Index were calculated to quantify pollution levels and eutrophication conditions.
