We find new, trapped states in which electrons are trapped in a lattice wave. These trapped states lie in the superconductor gap, and they account for the conductivity measured at low voltage in tunneling experiments. The density of these trapped states changes at an energy t' below the gap; this results in a peak in the tunneling current at a voltage t' /e.
