What is Perceptual Experience as Representation about?

Perhaps the most eloquent and unalloyed statement of representationism, this 2003 paper by the late Fred Dretske is more radical than those by most other supporters of the position (and than its modern founder, Everett Hall), by denying that anything non-representational (like a "raw feel") affects experience (what things "are like").
