This randomized controlled trial evaluated the efficacy of a Spanish-language intervention called Chicas Creando Acceso a la Salud (ChiCAS) in increasing preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) use, condom use, and medically supervised gender-affirming hormone therapy among 144 Spanish-speaking transgender Latinas in North and South Carolina. The ChiCAS intervention consisted of 2 small-group sessions. Results found that compared to the control group, those in the ChiCAS group reported a significant increase in PrEP
