This study developed an automated solid-phase microextraction (SPME) method coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) for the trace analysis of technical nonylphenol, bisphenol A, and 17a-ethinylestradiol in wastewater. The method demonstrated high reproducibility, low detection limits, and was tested on influents and effluents from constructed wetland plants. The results indicated that the SPME technique is suitable for routine analysis of endocrine disruptors in wastewater samples.
