This study investigated the impact of thyroxin therapy on neurocognitive function in children with compensated hypothyroidism. The results indicated that thyroxin therapy did not significantly affect neuropsychological function in the short term, as no notable differences were found between children on and off therapy. Despite attention problems observed in the subjects, their verbal and visual processing, motor speed, coordination, and academic achievement appeared normal compared to the general population
