About this document
Point of Care Ultrasound Diagnosis of Diffuse Pulm by Sunny Bharath is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This article discusses a case of a 32-year-old man with a history of mixed germ cell tumor who presented with respiratory symptoms and was diagnosed with diffuse pulmonary metastases using point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). The POCUS revealed well-circumscribed subpleural lesions, known as cannonball metastases, which helped differentiate them from COVID-19 pneumonia. This case emphasizes the growing role of POCUS in acute care diagnostics for detecting pulmonary metastases at the bedside.
