What is Thermodynamics of LiCl and LiBr in Solvents about?

This study investigates the thermodynamics of lithium chloride (LiCl) and lithium bromide (LiBr) in mixed solvent systems, measuring the electromotive forces (e.m.f.) of lithium amalgam cells at 298.15 K. The results indicate that the standard molal e.m.f.s vary linearly with the mole fraction of the organic solvent component, and primary hydration numbers for LiCl and LiBr were determined to be approximately 5 and 4, respectively. The findings contribute to the understanding of electrochemical thermodynami
