Can I read Loop Hardening of Hexagonal Metals on EtoBox?

Loop Hardening of Hexagonal Metals by Helmut O.K. Kirchner is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Loop Hardening of Hexagonal Metals about?

The hardening of hexagonal metals by the strain field of dislocation loops is considered. Depending on the loop dispersion two possible hardening mechanisms can be operative: for dilute dispersion an Orowan type mechanism in which the internal stress concentrations of the loops act as pinning centres is predicted. For dense dispersions the stress undulations are overcome directly. These two processes depend in a different way on loop diameter and concentration. Consequently overaging effects are possible. Hardening is higher for mobile edges than for screws.
