This study evaluated 51 oral mucosal lesions for toluidine blue staining and histopathology results to assess the reliability of toluidine blue staining in detecting epithelial dysplasia. 46 lesions stained positive with toluidine blue, of which 41 showed dysplasia on biopsy.
