This research investigates the relevance between literature reviews and research questions in theses written by students of STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat in 2019. Using qualitative content analysis, the study found that out of 13 theses analyzed, 6 were relevant while 7 were not, indicating a need for improved alignment between literature and research questions.
